To all the amazing people who have the patience to wait until their little precious bundle arrives to be told “it’s a boy” or “it’s a girl”, our hats are off to you. I could barley wait twenty weeks to find out and then during the ultra sound they showed us everything but the sex! I almost exploded with anticipation! I admire you for having patience even if I don’t understand it.

This situation does make it a bit tricky to buy a gift. We all want our gift to get the big “awwww” at the shower but this is hard to pull off with neutral gifts. Don’t worry, we’ve got the little one covered, literally. I discovered some great neutrals that are full of personality and easily go either way.

There’s No Fuss at My House

Life is hard enough, we certainly aren’t going to give you more chores. We chose fleece and the shag fabric because they are easy to care for. We pre-wash everything, so don’t be afraid to wash that bad boy. Throw it in the washer and dryer. Nothing is better than a warm Big Babe on a cold night. The only tricky part is with the big babe it usually turns into a giant ball in the dryer and you have to shake it out and dry it again. We wash ours in a front loading dryer and it usually takes about 30 minutes for the 2 dry cycles. It’s worth the extra effort. These babies are fool proof and built to last.

All Custom, All The Time

Do it your way. We love the independent spirit. We love the click and buy world a little too much I’m sure my husband would say. We always have the click and by option on our site. However we love to custom make your blanket. We want you to be unique, if you like unicorns you should have unicorns. When you custom make a blanket not only are you getting something handmade you have a hand in making it.

So how does it work? We email you and ask you to tell us about yourself or your hobbies, along with favorite colors. Then we scour the internet to find fabrics that match your answers. We then email you pictures of fabrics to choose from. You pick your favorite, we make it and you are snuggling with your new best friend.

What if the blanket is for someone else? No problem, we know what question to ask you to figure out what your friend would like. I once had a client tell me her friend was republican and liked Pottery Barn. We knew exactly what to do with that information. I hate to brag but we kind of have a sixth sense for what people will like their blanket to look like.

My Baby is Leaving

They are teenage aliens that take over our kid’s minds and bodies. Don’t worry your sweet angel is still in there.

Here at Lullababes we have a secret weapon called the Between Babe. It was made for the teenage aliens specifically. You can still wrap your baby in your love; you just have to disguise it in a blanket. You can custom pick the fabric to match whatever it is they can’t live with at the moment. They will love you more although they will never tell you out loud.

Welcome to our new website. We are so excited and proud to show it off. We have re-worked the site to make it easier for you, our super fabulous clients. We hope you like the new format. There are 30 new blankets waiting for loving home. There are 10 new styles in each of the three sizes we offer. As always we offer the Baby Babe which is 30” x 40”, the Between Babe which is 4’ x 6’, and he Big Babe coming at 5’ x 9’, the largest throw blanket on the market. Let us know what you think.
